Review: Romantic Times Book Club

It began when Cass Thomson received an invitation to her high school class reunion. Living on the outskirts of London, she is trying to turn a drafty, old mansion into a success as a museum. Thoughts of the reunion and her long-ago love with Gideon Harker leaves Cass daydreaming of times past. Will he be the man she remembers, or has she created a fantasy, the likes of which the real Gideon could never measure up to?

Anyone who's ever wondered about lost loves will appreciate Cass's angst. The class reunion scene is filled with comical thirtysomethings who fail to realize that receding hairlines and increased girths are just a few of the elements preventing them from being teenagers. But it is the tender moments that set this read apart, especially when Cass must take a serious look at her romance with Gideon, as well as her lingering feelings of parental abandonment
